The Stockstill House Restoration in Santa Fe received a Heritage Preservation Award from the city of Santa Fe and the State of New Mexico. The noteworthy gambrel-roofed brick house, unusual for Santa Fe, was completely restored and refurbished. The front porch, which had been enclosed, was re-opened and repaired. The pressed-metal-shingle roof was revealed and repaired. Original windows were repaired. Other work included repair of doors and woodwork, new wiring and plumbing, and the uncovering and refinishing of the original wood floors. The house remains a residence.
