The Meeting House is a state-of-the-art multi-purpose meeting room constructed within the shell of a renovated 1880's Congregational Church. Minimal building insertions inside the building house rest rooms and kitchen which are separated by glass from the restored church walls. The main space is designed for flexibility of use including conferencing, dining, and art exhibiting. The design allows occupants to visualize / recognize the history of the components of the building: trusses, plaster, walls, windows, wood trim, while augmenting it with a minimal intervention.

The existing church building's windows, trusses, and entry were restored to original materials and appearance. The north end of the building has a large section of glass and metal to allow an open and connected relationship to the North Garden. Blending with the existing Lannan compound was achieved through lateral walkways, colors, materials, and landscape.

The walled North Garden provides a visual and function extension of the Meeting House and reinforces the feeling of serenity and sanctuary. The front portion of the site provides a subtle / implied barrier, while the East Courtyard can be used for idle conversation or work break. A new row of fruit trees lines the west perimeter of the site and a grove of aspens is in the north garden. Parking to the west was provided.
